History

Albion Insurance Agency has been in existence since 1931. Elaine and Ron Rice purchased the agency in 1994 and moved into the current location at 609 S. Superior St. in 2002. After working for Prudential, their son, Greg joined the agency in 1999 specializing in personal lines. His wife, Kelly, started with the agency in 2010 as a commercial account executive after working in agencies in Alpena and Jackson. ShelRay was hired in July 2011 and has since acquired her agent license. The newest member of our team is Dana, who was hired in August 2019. In January of 2015, Greg and Kelly purchased the agency from Elaine and Ron and work daily to continue the strong community relationship while providing outstanding customer service to the agency's wide variety of customers.
